The dreaded buttonhole is a myth! We will go over how to use your sewing machine to make perfect buttonholes. We will even discuss a few types of buttonholes and when to use them. If your machine has those other types of buttonholes we will practice those as well. We will even discuss how to remove a buttonhole if there is a mistake! There are a few correct ways to sew on a button. We will go over them and do a short practice. Once you can put in a buttonhole, the options for clothing are dramatically expanded. 
Prerequisite: “Sewing 102” or equivalent. You should be comfortable using your sewing machine and manipulating fabric. Bring your own machine which has a buttonhole feature. If you’re not sure, just contact us to ask. If your machine doesn’t have a buttonhole feature let us know, and you can use ours.
